Shipping & Returns

Shipping

We aim to deliver orders within 3 to 5 business days from the time that they are ordered. Please allow extra time for rural deliveries.

Shipping Charges

At this time the Company offers free delivery to anywhere in New Zealand for online orders over $100 NZD. All other online orders will be shipped at a flat rate of $8 NZD. Freight charges are added to the order at the checkout stage of the order process based on your purchase amount.

Where We Don't Ship

We only ship our products within New Zealand.  We do not ship internationally.

Please note that a signature is required for all deliveries. Our carrier is unable to deliver the products if the delivery address is a PO Box or Parcel Locker. To ensure successful delivery, please provide a delivery address where someone will be present during business hours to sign for the receipt of your package. If no one is present when the products are delivered, the Company’s delivery agent may take the products to a local delivery depot and you will need to collect the products from there.

Our carrier is also unable to deliver to the following locations:  airports, hospitals and prisons. We reserve the right in our sole discretion to refuse to deliver products to any locations that represent an obvious hazard to the safety of the carrier or to the protection of the products.

Returns

JanSport.co.nz is committed to providing quality products to our customers. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with any product you purchased online, please return it to us in original condition with all labels and swing tags still attached within 30 days of receipt. We will replace it or refund the purchase price using the method in which you originally paid. 

JanSport.co.nz does not offer replacements or refunds on store purchases. All returns, refunds and warranty claims for JanSport backpacks purchased in store need to go through that same retailer.

How to Return

If your order is faulty, incorrect or you have simply changed your mind about what you purchased, you can return your items within 30 days using the returns card that was supplied with your order. All items must be in original condition with all labels and swing tags still attachedWe recommend using tracked shipping as JanSport.co.nz will not be held liable for any returns that do not make it back to us.

You MUST include a copy of the packing slip or proof of purchase when returning your item. We will not be able to process a return for any package received without a packing slip or proof of purchase. You also MUST include a completed returns form when sending your item back.

JanSport has the right to refuse returns if the products are not in original condition, if return documents are not included, or if they are returned outside the 30-day period.  Refunds can only be given once items are returned by post or courier to the online distribution centre.

Refunds

Once your returned merchandise is received, we will credit your original form of payment. Refunds will be credited for the purchase price along with any applicable taxes. Please allow 5 to 10 business days after receipt of your package to process your refund and for the credit to reflect on your account statement.

If shipping expenses were incurred in the purchase of the product, the refund will be minus shipping.

Damaged or Defective Items

We are happy to replace all items damaged in transit on their way to you and / or items containing a manufacturer's defect. Delivery charges incurred will be reimbursed.  The amount reimbursed will match the shipping prices on this site.  Please contact us via email info@jansport.nz or Facebook message www.fb.com/msg/jansportnz if your item is damaged or defective on arrival.
