Everyone wears a backpack now. Young. Old. Student. Professional. They’re a staple of any style. But before we released the Right Pack in the 70’s, backpacks were really just for hikers. When local students at the University of Washington started using our durable leather–bottom packs to hold their books, we became accidental style icons. That style quickly spread. Thirty–some years later, it’s a classic that’s been imitated by nearly every backpack brand.
